Santa may have miles to go, but our time 'til Christmas is getting shorter and shorter. I'm back today with my weekly post for Artistic Outpost. I was reminded this week that I haven't had my On-the-Edge Treeline die out this holiday season. It's a definite favorite for Christmas crafting, as is the Artistic Outpost Snowy Woods stamp set.
I started with white card stock and stamped the evergreen bough along the right edge with Library Green archival ink. Then Tim Holtz texture paste was applied through his Speckles stencil and while wet, sprinkled with Clear Rock Candy distress glitter. When everything was dry, I gave it a quick misting of Brushed Pewter Distress Spray Stain.
The Santa panel and the tag were stamped with Watering Can archival ink. The trees were sponged with Pine Needles plus had a coating of Clear Rock Candy distress glitter. I wanted a divider panel between the evergreen bough and the main scene so used Tim Holtz Industrious Borders.
My acrylic snowflake is the littlest one from the Stacked Snowflake die. I sponged with with Brushed Pewter stain and topped it with a Mirrored Star. The tag was cut with the Tiny Tabs and Tags die and also topped off with a Mirrored Star.
That's it for Artistic Outpost this week. Thanks so much for stopping by. Hope your Christmas preparations are going well.
The products below were used to make the card above. They are available at The Funkie Junkie Boutique where Ranger/Tim Holtz and most other name brand products are always 20% below MSRP.

Gorgeous Linda! I love all the layers trees and your snowy textured background is fabulous! Another wonderful holiday make! hugs :)
I love this, Linda! The tree line die is one of my favorites and that phrase is one I've taken to heart since I was a teenager. This is really fantastic!
Ooh - I love how you created the dense forest for him to head towards - wonderful way to create extra miles for him to travel! Gorgeous, Linda, as ever.

I saw this on the AO blog already, it's a stunning card, I adore the forest you created, such a perfect surrounding for that beautiful stamp!
The addition of the little tag looks great too!
Absolutely Stunning, Linda!! I love the green and silver and those die cut trees--WOW! Just beautiful!! Oh, I think I'm going to need that Treeline die ;)
XOXO-Shari
Wonderful forest - very clever and something I will have to remember!! The whole tag has a very wintery, deep night feeling - beautiful! Love your sentiments as well.
