Kudzu Kafe - New from Artistic Outpost

Good morning and welcome to the May release blog hop for Artistic outpost.  Just in time for summer stamping, Artistic Outpost is happy to releaseKudzu Kafe, a Southern inspired collection that pays homage to the lazy days of summer. This collection was inspired by a vintage kudzu seed packet that Robyn picked up from a flea market. Planting kudzu seeds is kind of ironic, because kudzu is like the plague to many that live in the Southern part of the US. It grows in the fields, along most country roads, and covers EVERYTHING.

The nostalgic images featuring a roadside cafe, children from the early 1900's, and Thoreau sentiments will easily mix and stylistically go with so many of Artistic Outpost's other collections including: The Outpost, Home, and Old Grist Mill.

What a fun country feel this set has. I absolutely fell in love with the ticking stamp and you'll be seeing more of it in upcoming work.  Here I used it for my background, the tickets and my flowers, all stamped in Faded Jeans Distress Ink.
Here is the list for the blog hop.  Hope you will hop by all the designer's blogs to see what wonderful inspiration they have to share using the new Kudzu Kafe set.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Words are beyond me to describe just how divine this card is. I've tried, but my brain is stammering...
I could attempt, but I fear I'd just babble. :)

Gorgeous!! I love the way you used that ticking stamp. I can't wait to get my hands on it. This set seems like it's made for your beautiful, shabby style. Loved all of your stuff in the AO gallery!

Another of your beautiful cards Linda!! I just love how you used the ticking stamp on the ticket strips and flowers - pity that stamp wasn't made as a separate one - it is great! Gorgeous colours too!
