My Bad

I caved.  Yes, I did.  I tried to resist because I know I should have been working on my Christmas kits, that I still owe to five customers.  I kept going back and looking at Tim's wonderful tag for Day #1 and I was doing a good job resisting, until I saw Shelly Hickox's dynamite post.  I was so inspired by her encouragement to "Make it Work" that all my good intentions went out the window.  I just had to play.  I don't have the Tattered Pinecone die (yet - LOL) so I followed Shelly's instructions and my pinecone came out great.  I just don't know how to fasten it on with that darn toothpick sticking out the rear.  It seems to be laying down when it should be sticking up - oh well, I'll figure it out.

Update:  Propped up the pinecone with a bit of foam under it so it sits up a bit and reshot the photo from a different angel.  Helps a bit to make the pinecone more visible.

Have you ever played along with Tim's 12 Tags of Christmas?  I haven't, but you know I am in tag mode this season so I'm sure to be inspired by some of his amazing work.  Okay, now I'm going back to work on those kits.

Thanks for stopping by!

Well, now you are being a bad influence on me to stop my projects and make tags with Tim...or is it that you are inspiring mt to create tags even though I don't have all the items he does?? LOL Thanks for the inspiration and for sharing the beautiful tag.

oh my..just found your blog this morning...not sure if I should say this out loud or not but....I like your tags better than Tim's...shhh.
And about that toothpick...just snip it off at the base of your pinecone with your trusty Tim scissors and you can glue it down any way you want.
