Check Out the September Release From Artistic Outpost!

Hello friends, followers and visitors!  I'm so happy you have stopped by today because today is September release day at Artistic Outpost.  I've got two pieces made with the new Picture Star plate.  And below this post, is my weekly post for Frilly and Funkie.  Yeah, I've been BUSY!!!!

Artistic Outpost's two newest releases will appeal to TWO different sides of your creativity. For your bold Halloween projects, we feature Gothic 31, a cheeky take on the scary side of All Hallow's Eve. If you need some glamor in your stamping, then you will love the Picture Star collection, which features multiple images in the style of old Hollywood glamour including two adorable tikes, a ballerina and a little boy who are both ready for their close up.

I hope you will stop by the blogs of all the Artistic Outpost designers to see their wonderful creations with the two new releases.  Be sure to leave them some love!

For the one above, I used Ranger Specialty Stamping paper and Jet Black Archival ink to get a nice crisp saturated stamping.  Then I used craft white on a black panel to back it up.  The stars were coated with black Stickles for lots of bling.

I mounted my designer paper and ballerina on one of my jumbo tags and colored her with Copics, which I hardly ever use any more and have really gotten out of practice!  The twinkle and shine tags really do twinkle and shine.  I rubbed Glossy Accents over each one with my finger and then quickly covered it with the new Distress Stickles Dry Glitter.  I'm becoming obsessed with that stuff.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

These products used to make these two pieces are available at The Funkie Junkie Boutique:

I adore the sweet girl and how you made such a lovely soft and pretty card. The movie star shines in your design with the filmstrip and the slightly popped marquee! Cool!
