Tag Time Again - Tim's #4

Did you see Tim's #4 tag?  Ooh, I positively adored the technique he demonstrated with die cutting a cavity into a shape using a Movers and Shapers die.  Then he backed it up with a music sheet and filled it with Glossy Accents.   Very cool, but I have no Movers and Shapers (yet) so I really struggled to come up with a way to make a cavity, plus I don't really have any of his Christmas shaped dies (package on its way though - LOL).  Anyway, after puzzling all day, I decided to check out what some of the others were doing and was inspired by Eileen over at ArtSavesLives (love her blog name!).  She used a snowflake die to cut out a cavity - thanks for the inspiration Eileen!

That did it;  I was off and running.  Here is the result.  I sort of followed Tim's instructions for the tag background, making a few little adjustments to suit me.  I am just in love with the Iced Spruce seasonal distress ink!  How I wish they would come out with reinkers for these seasonal distress pads 'cause it will be a sad day when they go dry!

You can click the thumbnails below to check out the products used. The white jute mesh and the white corrugated cardboard are from my Etsy boutique. Clicking the thumbnail will take you directly to that listing.

Have a great day - thanks for stopping by and for all your comments!

Hi Linda: can't believe I'm the first to comment. Love, love, love your version of Tim's Day 4 tag, especially the idea of using the snowflake die for the cavity.
