Villa Road

Welcome back to my second Friday post. I'm here to share the card I made for Fairy Fun Friday, The Prairie Fairy's challenge. This week our challenge is to use flowers on our card. I tried to include a variety - a beautiful snapdragon garden scene (Villa Road from The Prairie Fairy) plus several hand made flowers. The rose follows the Splitcoast tutorial (but I only have 5 petal dies/punches). For the two small ribbon flowers, I just ran a basting stitch along one edge, gathered it and rolled it into several layers. I hand stitched the bottom together so it wouldn't unwind. The sentiment was printed on my computer and cut with a Spellbinders tag die. The leaf is a Sizzix die, the image was colored with Copics. I used a couple of Cuttlebug embossing folders and the butterflies were cut with an SU Sizzix Embosslit die. I added a couple of bead caps/brads for a finishing touch.

I hope you will join this easy challenge this week. Can't wait to see what you make with flowers. Thanks so much for stopping by and for the lovely comments you leave. If you have any questions on my work, please feel freeto leave it in the comments section or email me directly.
Blessings & hugs,
