Good morning and welcome! I hope your Saturday morning is warm and wonderful! So glad you stopped off here this morning to check out my card for Our Creative Corner. This week our wonderful hostess, Loretta Lock, has a tough challenge for us - to make that dreaded masculine card. Ug :(. There are few things that really, really challenge me when it comes to card making but making a guy card is one of them. So I have been hemming and hawing all week and just couldn't make a start. I just really don't have many images suitable for guys. So my fall back was VINTAGE! This charming image is from Magic Moonlight. I paired it up with some 7 Gypsies DP and layered it over Riding Hood Red and Soft Suede. The image was printed on my home printer and I layered the sentiment over it and printed that also. The hardware, except for the brad and compass, are from Tim Holtz. The tickets are from Autumn Leaves but there wasn't one that said Happy Birthday so I had to print that on my printer and stamp the ticket outline around it. The compass is from StarlitStudio.
All in all, I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out. I think it will be perfect for the DH's birthday later this year.
