Good morning, friends! It's Saturday morning again and I am back with my weekly share of my design team project for Our Creative Corner. Again this week, Marcy Kaminski is our hostess and she wants us to create a project based on the theme "In Your Easter Bonnet". Her challenge to us is to design a card/project that is inspired by a frilly Easter bonnet. She wants us to use elements that you would put onto your own bonnet, such as lace, flowers, pearls, etc. So I threw it ALL in here. I made a pretty Easter egg for a refrigerator magnet/greeting.
For my flowers, I use that flower icon of spring - a crocus. Yep, that's what my crinoline flowers are supposed to be this time. To find out more about how this project was made, please visit my featured Saturday StepXStep post on the Frilly and Funkie challenge blog which will be published mid morning on Saturday. I couldn't resist this darling vintage Easter image with the cute li'l chicks in their Easter bonnets.
Be sure to stop by Our Creative Corner and see what the rest of the team have for their Easter projects. Plus we have Lisa Minckler as our geust designer this week and she has an amazing project to share!

ReplyDeleteWonderful inspiration for Easter and a Bonnet Linda, your image is adorable and the design of the Egg/card has a vintage/shabby feel to it, all your elements including your crocus buds harmonise beautifully together, using the TH doily die-cut with crackle paint is an idea I may take on board!
