Back to School With Artistic Outpost

I'm back with my second post for this Wednesday as it's our monthly Artistic Outpost blog hop.  The theme this month is Back to School so I whipped bright and fun card to celebrate the time of year when all the kiddies head back to school and mom and dad breathe a huge sigh of relief.  The ABCs and the pencils are from the Secretary Pool plate and the bicycle is from Lovely Day.  The apple is an old Creative Memories die cut that I dug out of my old scrapbooking stash and altered with a bit of Rock Candy Distress Crackle Paint and Vintage Photo Distress Stain.  The note paper was created with more of the Tim Holtz ColorCore Core'dinations, sanded and sponged with Vintage Photo DI.  The little banner was hand written and the ribbon is some lovely, soft jute ribbon I recently came across to carry in the boutique.  The little handprint BG paper is a digital printing from Raspberry Road.

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  I hope you will join in the short hop we have going.  Here are the rest of the designers.  Stop by their blogs and leave them so love!

  1. What a perfect card for back to school. Love that you used the bicycle. I nearly added back to school with the same letters. I love the little banner and the hand prints in the background are so perfect. Love it. Tracy x
