Tag, You're It!

Good morning!  So happy you stopped to visit my blog today to see what I have for this week's Our Creative Corner challenge.  This week we are encouraging you to make some sort of tag - it can be purely as an artistic expression or take this opportunity to make a holiday gift tag.  It can be stand alone or as part of a card or other project. Mine is a holiday decoration to hang on a door knob or as a wall hanging.  I used the lovely Christmas angel from the recent Peace on Earth Whimsey Stamps release to make a gold and sepia toned tag.  The background of the tag was stamped with the Whimsey Classified Ads stamp in Vintage Photo and the next layer was embossed with the a Stampin' Up! embossing folder.  The flourish was cut with a Cuttlebug die, sponged with Vintage Photo distress ink and randomly embossed with UTEE/gold EP.  The lovely angel was colored with Copics and Antique Linen Distress Stickles were applied to her wings.  The flower was cut from ivory felt and crinoline dyed with Vintage Photo and Heirloom Perfect Pearls.  The Tim Holtz Tattered Floral die was used to cut the flower pieces.

Hope you will stop by Our Creative Corner to see the rest of the design teams' tags.  Can't wait to see what you will be making this week!
