Playing with Circles

Hi y'all, I'm making a few appearances at Frilly ad Funkie over the next couple of months.  We have several of our team taking leaves of absence and I'm jumping in to help cover.  This week, I'm on the Frilly side of the team.  Our challenge theme is Going Around in Circles.  I didn't come up with anything original for this challenge, but it did give me a chance to play with a beautiful doily die set from Spellbinders.

I started with a square of white CS, painted it with Dusty Concord distress paint and stenciled it with the Tim Holtz Gothic stencil and Jet Black Archival Ink.  The flower was hand made with the Tattered Flowers strip die, cut from white CS and stained with Carved Pumpkin distress stain, then edged with Vintage Photo distress ink.

I used the fun black cat from the Hocus Pocus die and instead of a bell around his neck, I gave him a spider.  His rhinestone eyes are actually green, too bad they don't show up well in the photo.  The BOO and the spiders are from last year's Halloween Idea-ology line, no longer available.

That's about it for this card.  Just a quick make for me to jump back into crafting after a long absence.  Thank you for visiting.  I hope you will stop back next Monday for the kick off of my annual 12 Tags of Christmas Funkie Junkie Style.

The products below were used to make the above card.  They are available at The Funkie Junkie Boutique where Tim Holtz/Ranger products are alway 20% below MSRP.
