Next I dry embossed the Paisley pattern onto white CS using an old favorite Cuttlebug embossing folder and sponged it with Barn Door DI. The sentiment and the photo stamp were both stamped onto white CS with jet black archival. The photo stamp was colored with a Barn Door distress marker. The stars were cut from canvas and colored with Faded Jeans DS. Then I stenciled a silver star on each using Wendy Vecchi's silver embossing paste. I also heat embossed a silver tone #1 with Weathered Wood distress embossing powder. A little hand stitching using burlap string was added along both edges to enhance the country feel.
The Funkie Junkie Boutique is temporarily closed right now for my vacation and to move it into its new home. I'm going to list the thumbnail links to products in the store anyway so you can come back after May 16th and find them in the shop. I do still have a couple of the Cowgirl stamp sets in stock.
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you are having a great weekend!
Yeeha! (sorry, couldn't resist :) and amen to that. Keep this one close at hand over the coming few weeks and months and enjoy your break. Onwards and upwards... Jenny x
