Hello! Welcome to our monthly Artistic Outpost blog hop. This month the theme is Designer's Choice and my choice is Halloween. Actually, I'm having this card do double duty as we are kicking off a Halloween theme over at Frilly and Funkie for this fortnight's challenge.
I hope you will join us on the hop. Here is our line up:
I used three different Artistic Outpost sets for this card. The sweet little witch is from Vintage Halloween as is the Hello, punkin! greeting, the Happy Halloween is from the Haunted Halloween set and the poison label is from Apothecary.
Okay, so how did I make this little gem? First I started looking for black and white harlequin paper, couldn't find any in the stash so downloaded a pattern from the internet and printed it out. Then I sponged it with Library Green archival ink and stamped the sentiments in the same ink. The banners were hand cut and sponged with Vintage Photo DI. I used the Mini Baroque M&S die to cut that panel. The little witch was stamped with Jet Black archival, trimmed out and colored with SU pastels. A piece of white card stock was cut with the Cameo Frame die and stenciled with Jet Black archival and Wendy Vecchi's Yipes Stripes stencil. It's hard to see, but the black panel has diamonds embossed on it using an old SU texture fade. The flowers were cut with the Tattered Flowers decorative strip die from white CS and colored with Dusty Concord distress stain. The leaves were cut from an old Sizzix die. Once assembled, I misted the flowers and leaves with Perfect Pearl Perfect Pearl mist.
The piece wasn't too spooky for a Halloween piece so I added a piece of black "spooky cloth" that I picked up a few years ago at the Dollar Store.
And that's it for the details on this one. I hope you will hop around and leave some love on the other designers' blogs. And please do stop by Frilly and Funkie to see the Halloween makes over there!

I could not find a name or number when I looked it up but here is a link http://store.scrapbook.com/pri-882143.html?t12-13=prima+marketing&t2=templates. Hope this helps. It is a beautiful mask!
