Welcome to Artistic Outpost's October blog hop. Thank you so much for stopping by today. Our October theme is autumn and I'm again using the Old Grist Mill plate which has become a favorite go-to for my fall crafting needs.
For this piece, I stamped a vanilla CS panel with the flower and the old newspaper stamps from this set in Coffee and Sepia archival ink. Then I ran Picket Fence DS over it to soften the shades a bit. I like the whitewashed effect it created. The main image of the grist mill was stamped in Coffee archival on vanilla CS. I embossed and sanded some Core'dinations Kraft Core with the Thankful Backgrounds and Borders texture fade. I used some of the little leaves I created with the Mini Tattered Florals die for embellishments. That's it, no special techniques, just some vintage country goodness to celebrate the season of harvest.
Here is our blog hop line up. It's a short one so no excuses for not stopping by each of our lovely design team members.
Thank you so much for coming by today. I hope you enjoy your tour through our autumn spender!
