Good morning! Welcome to my weekly post for Simon Says Stamp and Show. I have another Christmas tag to share with you on this marvelous Monday. I love tags so it wasn't a hardship for me to make two in a row. Usually my cards are pretty elaborate and involved so making a tag seems quick and easy for me. This one is heavily on the vintage side. I used two vintage images from one of the vintage sites listed on my sidebar. ( I'm not sure exactly where they came from, but if anyone is dying to know, leave me that question in the comments and I'll track it down for you.)
This is a fairly simple tag. I wanted to do another tag in sepia tones using lots of Vintage Photo distress ink. The newspaper text background and the vintage images have been sponged with Vintage Photo distress ink. The stars were cut with a Sizzix die out of corrugated cardboard and crinoline. They were sprayed with a mixture of Vintage Photo reinker and Heirloom Gold Perfect Pearls. The star brads were embossed with Antique Linen distress embossing power and a bit of the VP mixture was applied.
Be sure to stop over to the Simon Says Stamp and Show challenge blog to check out the other tags my fellow design teams members have made. And while you're at it, check out their personal blogs too:
