Anniversary With a Twist

It's time for another Our Creative Corner challenge and this week our dear hostess, Loretta Lock, has thown in a twist. We are to make an anniversary card, but it is to be inspired by either the year or the theme of an anniversary - yours, someone you are sending it to or just one that you like. She has kindly provided us with this website listing traditional and modern anniversary gift themes. In my haste to get the card made before I left on vacation on Thursday, again this week, I just read the title of the challenge and made an anniversary card - one that I want to give to my DH as our 38th anniversary is coming up in July. However, I'm going to fudge a bit here and say that I made it for a 7 or 21 year anniversary since the theme for both is brass. At least I didn't have to make an entirely new card like I did last week!

This is another brand new set from JustRite Stamps, part of the April release that I won. It is colored with Copics. The DP and the brass sea charms are both from the K&C Sea Glass collection, which have been sitting in my stash for a year now. It's mounted onto a panel of Blue Bayou and then Soft Suede. The rope and eyelets are both from SU. The edges are sponged with Vintage Photo distress ink.
