Challenge: 12 Tags of Christmas - Funkie Junkie Style - Week #4

Hello friends!  Can you believe that we are already up to Tag #4 of my 12 Tags of Christmas challenge?  Time is flying and we are one-third finished with the challenge.  If you are new to the challenge, you can read all the details and rules in the first post here.  I'm super excited to see how many of you are joining in the fun!  I've been traveling, but will be getting around to see each of your lovely creations up close and personal.

This week I changed it up again and went a little country on you.  The tag is a jumbo tag from my shop, stamped in Gathered Twigs with the Wendy Vecchi gingham stamp I am so fond of (from her Nature's Art set). I dry embossed some kraft core Core'Dinations for the red panel. All the stamps are from the Mini Holidays set. I made the star from a pipe cleaner and the Believe panel was created using Tim Holtz's Enameled Stamping technique (page 44 Compendium of Curiousities 2).
The corrugated cardboard flower was cut using the Tattered Pinecone die. I cut two pieces, rolled the first and then just kept rolling with the second piece to create a fairly large flower. Before I rolled it, I sponged the edges with Vintage Photo DI and then smeared gesso on each petal with my fingertip.

Not too many details this week, but if you have questions, please leave them in the comments section and I update the post with the responses.  Can't wait to see how this piece will inspire your amazing art!

These supplies are all available for purchase at my boutique The Funkie Junkie Boutique.

A fabulous rustic feel to this tag Linda, I love the colours and elements you have used. I don't have a gingham stamp, so will have a think about what I could use. I am keeping up so far. Thanks for all the inspiration.
